Hey Mums was started by me, Elena. Hi - nice to meet you, and welcome.

I moved back to Singapore (I couldn't stay away!) in 2025 and fell pregnant with my son soon afterwards. Pregnancy felt lonely at times. I was acutely aware that I was the only one experiencing what it was like to carry my child. The morning sickness, the mood swings, that awful pain while searching for a comfortable sleeping position in the third trimester. Who can relate?
That was the question, really. Who could relate?
I was fortunate enough to find wellbub, a community of mums in Singapore run by a lovely fellow mum. I joined a wellbub WhatsApp group matched to my due date, and it changed eveything. I was instantly connected to a group of women in exactly the same season of life as me. We were each other's cheerleaders, supporters, and confidants. I made real friends. People I meet in person, and whose little ones I watch grow. I've shared coffees, laughs, and the occasional glass of wine with women I might have otherwise never crossed paths with. As I said, it changed everything.
When I heard that wellbub would be winding down in Singapore, I was gutted. But then I saw the opportunity to carry something forward, so that other mums could experience the same type of companionship. A community where you can be a mum, and be you.
That is how Hey Mums was born.
